Supporting you in Healing, Growing, and Thriving
A little about me…
I’m a licensed professional counselor dedicated to helping adults navigate life’s challenges, including childhood trauma, anxiety, depression, relationship issues, grief, and loss. I provide therapy to individuals across Texas, specializing in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), among other evidence-based approaches.
With extensive experience in community mental health, I’ve had the privilege of working with people from diverse backgrounds, which has deepened my commitment to providing compassionate, personalized care. As a bilingual therapist (English & Spanish), I strive to create a supportive and inclusive space where clients feel heard, understood, and empowered.
Beyond my work as a therapist, I’m also a wife and a mother to two energetic kids—an experience that continually strengthens my understanding of life’s joys and challenges.
My approach
Through my own experiences with loss and life’s challenges, I’ve learned that true healing happens when we have the space to be open and vulnerable. Because I’ve walked my own path of grief and resilience, I deeply understand the weight of pain, uncertainty, and self-doubt. This perspective allows me to connect with my clients on a meaningful level, offering not just professional guidance, but genuine empathy.
My approach to therapy is rooted in compassion—I strive to create a safe, supportive environment where you feel understood and validated. Together, we’ll work to process and navigate past experiences or life transitions, helping you gain clarity and build resilience. I encourage deep exploration of the emotions underlying low self-esteem, self-defeating thoughts, and self-destructive behaviors, always advocating for self-love and self-compassion. My ultimate goal is to help you cultivate a healthier, more fulfilling relationship with yourself and others.
Getting Started
Consultation
Choosing the right therapist is an important step in your journey toward healing, and the consultation is our opportunity to see if I’m the right fit for your needs. During this session, you’ll get a sense of my approach and personality, and I’ll learn more about what you’re experiencing and what you hope to achieve in therapy.
This is also a time for you to ask any questions you may have—whether about my therapeutic methods, what to expect in our sessions, or details about payment and scheduling. It’s all about ensuring that you feel comfortable and confident moving forward.
